The role

As an HR Manager/ HR Business Partner at Calliditas you will have a broad responsibility involving HR policies, compliance programs, recruiting, benefits and support the management team. As a HR Manager/ HR Business Partner you will report to the Head of HR and be part of a team of six. You will be located at the Stockholm office and manage the human resource function for Sweden and Europe together with the Head of HR and HR Manager. This role is a broad role with great responsibility.

You will not manage a team of your own or be a part of the management team. The most important part of the role is that you are the link between the management team and the rest of the organization. You are an important role model for the values of Calliditas and dare to pursue initiatives that drive culture within the company.

Your profile

Calliditas is looking for a person who has a broad experience within the human resource area and that wants to continue developing skills within a fast-growing international company. You will together with the Head of HR and HR Manager set up the structure for this role depending on your strengths and were you want to develop your skills. To thrive in this role, we believe that you are a generalist and have been involved with a variety of areas like salary reviews, recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, have contact with lawyers and tax specialist. You need the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities, and flexibility to support multiple managers and the board. You have the ability to solve problems using innovative thinking and good decision making. You are highly organized and have a structured and efficient way of working.

Relevant background

• University degree (e.g., Bachelor Human Resource Management degree)
• Approximately 10 years’ experience from a broad HR role
• Experience in general HR administrative duties
• Familiarity with HR systems required
• Good knowledge of Swedish labor law
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent time management
• Proactive approach, drive and follow through
• Must have good organization skills, comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced small company environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
• Be a team player
• Highly organized and process oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Fluently communicate in English language and Swedish language, both written and spoken
• Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
