The contract term is for a minimum of 2 years with the possibility of extension, and you will be able to start immediately. You will also receive 6 weeks of vacation time and the mutual notice period is 3 months.

Our client Samsung is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team at their head office in Kista. They are a vibrant and dynamic sales and marketing organization in the Nordics, with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Helsinki. As part of a team of six people, you will enjoy working in a fun environment where teamwork is highly valued.
What will this role achieve?
As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing the procurement strategy, executing sourcing, and managing vendors across the Nordics. You will design and implement sourcing strategies within our marketing categories, work closely with local stakeholders to agree on procurement projects, and deliver value to the bottom line.
What will be the job scope & key deliverables?
- Building a pipeline of procurement projects in collaboration with local stakeholders and executing local and regional deals within agreed time frames
- Achieving cost reduction targets/added values, developing new added value strategies, and improving negotiable spend via sourcing and demand management
- Leading complex RFPs and negotiations, and supporting in the analysis of the information and the negotiation of the contract in collaboration with stakeholders and legal teams
- Minimizing contractual risks to the company and managing business relationships with vendors according to Samsung's procurement processes
- Identifying and evaluating existing and potential suppliers, as well as establishing and maintaining a supplier relationship management approach
- Developing and fostering supplier relations from a business perspective, such as risk management, innovation, and services with a competitive edge. This includes conducting the formal Samsung supplier evaluation process
- Contributing to driving the standardization of Samsung processes and operations, and ensuring compliance to the procurement policies within the organization
What do we need for this role?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent), preferably in procurement, finance or similar
- Minimum 7-10 years of work experience in sourcing and purchasing
- Experience of working in a global and complex marketing organization and liaising with different cultures
- Relevant knowledge within different procurement marketing categories e.g. Media, PR, Field Force, Retail Marketing, Creative & Production
- Excellent in written and verbal presentation / communication - must be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English
- Ability to interact with a large number of stakeholders within all levels of the organization
- Very good knowledge of ERP, Power Point and Excel
- Strategic thinker with an analytical mind
- Be a person who values both teamwork and working independently
- A structured and detailed oriented person with a positive “Can do”- attitude
